COOLUM WORKSHOP

Coolum was a 5 day, live in workshop organized by Sue Gardiner for the Queensland Watercolour Society.
The venue is high up on a hill looking over the sea and surrounded by bush land - a great place to paint.

  Coolum Headland

18 students attended the workshop.  We had a wonderful time experimenting with Gesso, Gouache, Ink Pastel  watercolour and collage. I was amazed at how hard everyone worked - I never saw the workroom empty, There were people painting til after 10 o'clock at night and others starting at 6 in the morning.

It was a great group of people and everyone had a fantastic time thanks to Sue's hard work.

Plenty of light and space at Coolum
