Changing Textures features Federation houses fringing Sydney Harbour under the backdrop of a modern city. Villages of Medieval Europe seem to have grown out of the earth, their colours and textures echoing that of the surrounding landscapes.
Hundreds of years of organised farming has created the structured patterns of rural France. Australia by contrast, has a landscape of scarred, stunted beauty, the result of thousands of years under an extreme climate.

These paintings fuse the contrasting textures into a rich an exciting exhibition, one not to be missed. Over three levels of exhibiting space.
