The lessons below may be used by teachers as the basis for art lesson plans.

The first group of lessons focus on design and apply to any painting or drawing medium.

The second group apply specifically to watercolor or any water based media - acrylic, gouache etc

The third group are subject related and apply to all painting media

Although these lesson plans were developed for adult and secondary school students, they can be simplified for younger students
